Finding More Than Just a Room: My Story at Adana Student Pods

My name is Leah Sagini, a journalism student pursuing my university education while
learning to navigate the realities of independent living. Like many students, joining campus
marked the beginning of a completely new chapter, one filled with excitement, uncertainty,
and the responsibility of making decisions on my own. One of the most important decisions
I had to make was choosing where to live.
When I moved into Adana Student Pods, I expected nothing more than a place to sleep after
long days of lectures. Instead, I found a community. From sharing meals with my fellow
thrive buddies to late-night discussions before exams and encouraging each other through
stressful weeks, I quickly realized that student accommodation is about much more than
four walls. It’s about the people around you and the environment that helps you thrive.
As a journalism student, balancing assignments, deadlines, content creation, and personal
life can be overwhelming. Having a comfortable and student-friendly environment has
made a real difference in my productivity and well-being. Whether it’s studying in quiet
spaces, interacting with fellow students, or simply knowing I’m surrounded by people who
understand the university journey, Adana has become a place I genuinely call home.
Looking back, I can confidently say that Adana Student Pods has been more than
accommodation, it has been part of my university experience. It has given me friendships,
unforgettable memories, and a sense of belonging during one of the most transformative
periods of my life. Sometimes, the place you choose to live becomes part of your story, and
for me, Adana Student Pods will always be one of the best chapters of my campus journey.
